Chili Peanut Popcorn

Ingredients
Popcorn
⅓ cup (75 mL) salted peanuts |
½ tsp (2 mL) chili powder |
½ tsp (2 mL) peanut oil |
2 tbsp (30 mL) popping corn |
fresh lemon juice |
Directions
In heavy-bottomed saucepan set over medium heat; toast peanuts until golden. Place peanuts in bowl. Sprinkle chili powder over warm peanuts; toss to coat.
In same saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Add popping corn and cover saucepan. Cook over medium heat, shaking pan occasionally, until the popping stops.
Stir popped corn into chili peanuts. Add more chili powder, if desired, and lemon juice to taste just before serving.
