Asian Spiced Peanuts
Peanuts are an essential part of many Asian dishes, but make for a great snack by themselves.

- Serves: Makes 9 servings (⅓ cup per serving)
Ingredients
Peanuts
3 cups (750 mL) dry-roasted, unsalted peanuts |
2 tsp (10 mL) soy sauce |
1 tbsp (15 mL) sesame oil |
1 tbsp (15 mL) granulated sugar |
1 tbsp (15 mL) ground ginger |
1 tbsp (15 mL) garlic powder |
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). In a medium bowl, toss peanuts with soy sauce and sesame oil. Combine remaining ingredients in a resealable plastic bag and mix well.
Add peanuts to the bag and toss gently to coat evenly. Spread peanuts in single layer on a non-stick baking sheet.
Bake in centre of oven for 7-10 minutes. Remove peanuts from the oven and break apart with a spatula. Cool in pan. Store in an airtight container.
