Double Peanut Chocolate and Pretzel Bars
Salty and sweet, crunchy and soft – these decadent bars really do have it all.

Ingredients
Pretzels Bars
½ cup (125 mL) butter |
¼ cup (60 mL) peanut butter |
2½ cups (625 mL) chocolate baking crumbs |
1 cup (250 mL) coarsely broken pretzels |
1 cup (250 mL) mini chocolate bar bites, halved |
1 cup (250 mL) peanuts, coarsely chopped |
¾ cup (175 mL) chocolate chunks or chips |
1 can (300 mL) sweetened condensed milk |
Directions
Preheat oven to 350⁰F (180⁰C). Line a 9x13-inch (3-L) baking pan with parchment paper. In a medium saucepan, melt butter with peanut butter. Then stir in chocolate crumbs until blended. Pat firmly into pan.
In a medium bowl, combine pretzels, chocolate bar pieces, peanuts and chocolate chunks. Sprinkle ⅓ of peanut mixture over crumb base. Evenly drizzle half the condensed milk over top. Repeat with peanut mixture then condensed milk, topping with the remaining ⅓ of the peanut mixture.
Bake in preheated oven until bubbly and deep brown around the edges, about 25 minutes. Cool completely, then cut into bars. Bars will keep well in a container for several days, and will freeze well.
