The holiday shopping season is now in full-swing! To encourage consumers to keep peanuts and peanut butter top-of-mind for holiday cooking and baking, the Peanut Bureau of Canada (PBC) is executing the following three holiday social and digital programs:
- A holiday-themed social media ad campaign on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest, with PBC recipe assets to emphasize peanuts and peanut butter as the ingredients of choice for holiday baking.
- Partnership with Rogers Media to provide Canadians with delicious holiday recipes, with the hero ingredients, peanuts and peanut butter. Select PBC recipes will live on a custom hub within Cityline and be promoted through multiple channels to extend reach and engagement.
- A holiday movie night-themed digital partnership and promotion with Planters Peanuts, to encourage Canadians to choose peanuts as their snack-of-choice when watching their favourite holiday movies.
Our social media and digital media programs will highlight various ways in which consumers can use peanuts and peanut butter in key holiday recipes and promote the sale of peanut butter at the retail level.
