Peanuts have unsaturated fats which help combat fatigue; snacking on a spoonful of peanut butter or a handful of peanuts while working can help keep you alert and focused. Niacin and vitamin E are also found in peanuts, which can help protect against the development of Alzheimer’s disease and cognitive decline.

Resveratrol, a bioactive found in peanuts, has shown to improve blood flow to your brain – by as much as 30 per cent! Polyphenols, which are also found in peanuts, can help improve mood and reduce the risk of depression.
